Timberwise floors uniquely combine the characteristics of a good wooden floor, in looks and in technology.
1. Stunning looks
The single planks with micro bevels on all sides distinguish Timberwise from other floors. A comprehensive range of different woods and surface finishes offers a choice of either a traditional or modern interior. Timberwise range provides customers with alternatives from light to dark shades and traditional softwoods to time tested hardwoods. Timberwise products offer the feel and character of a real wooden floor in houses, flats and anything in-between.
2. Durable glue joints
Wood is a hygroscopic material. It absorbes and loses moisture according to the air humidity and temperature. Thus wooden material expands when it absorbs moisture and shrinks when it loses moisture. For this reason parquets glue joints are under constant stress. Timberwise glue joints meets the industrys highest standards for durability and is therefor suitable for demanding conditions.
3. Emission free products
Flooring is one of the largest surfaces at home. This is why Timberwise minds about the product safety. To help to achieve the best possible interior air quality Timberwise uses completely Formaldehyde free adhesives in its products.
4. Ecological
Timberwise floors are made using renewable natural resources. All Timberwise products are available with PEFC sertification. This means that our raw materials are from sertified forests, where the number of trees that are grown exceeds the number that are felled.
5. Finnish
Timberwise is a Finnish parquet manufacturer. We value the long history of wood processing and related expertise that can be found in Finland. The consistent quality of the products is ensured with an internal quality system and continuous staff training.
6. Thicker surface – Real wood
All three layers of Timberwise floor are real wood which means that Timberwise products can really be called natural wooden flooring. The thicker than normal surface layer guarantees a durable and long-lasting floor solution. The thickness of the surface wear-layer is 5mm for softwoods and 4mm for hardwoods. When required, the floor can be sanded and surface-treated 2 to 3 times.
7. Structure free of hydroscopic changes
Thanks to cross-gluing, Timberwise floors are virtually unaffected by normal moisture changes. The changes in width are almost non-existent - only 1/6th of that of normal wooden plank floor. It is for this reason that no considerable gaps appear between floorboards even during different seasons, as is the case in traditional solid plank floors. Cross-glued 3-layer boards also guarantees a sturdy structure for the floor.
8. Easy to install
Timberwise WiseLoc is the easiest and quickest parquet to install. When the floor is installed, the short ends are simply pressed down allowing the moveable tongue to lock into place. This system ensures the short end joints remain tight when walked on. No need for having to bend the floorboards as in many other locking system. Therefore, it is not time consuming or inconvenient, and one person can install the floor on their own.
9. Suitability with under-floor heating
Timberwise floors, both glued and lock system types, can be installed with underfloor heating, as long as you observe the points mentioned in the installation instructions.
10. Diverse surface treatments
The floors are available with various surface treatment alternatives. The surface can be either sanded or brushed. In addition to clear oil-waxing, tinted oil-waxes are also available. The lacquer alternatives are normal, matt and white lacquers. The products are also available with unfinished surface. Get to know our products from here!
