The wood that we use comes from PEFC certified forests, where the number of trees that are grown exceeds the number that are felled. This is controlled according to the PEFC certificate granted by detached auditor. In order to ensure sustainable development, we have also given up the use of exotic species of trees. So if you want to use a dark wood in your home, we can offer you oak with dark surface treatment for example instead of merbau. The end result is similar to exotic tree species, but, from an environmental perspective, is the superior choice beyond a doubt!
